Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they govern the provision of services by Right Angle Property Services ('Right Angle', 'we', 'us', 'our') to any client ('Client', 'you', 'your') using our services. By instructing Right Angle to provide services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Company Information

Right Angle Property Services is a business trading under the legal company name of Matcon Productions Ltd, registered with Companies House in England and Wales (No. 07645226) at the address of 36 Shakespeare Road, Droylsden, Manchester, M43 7NF. We provide integrated property services including coordinated inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and transport solutions, for both residential and commercial dwellings.

2. Services

Services may include, but are not limited to: light property inspections; cleaning and hygiene resets; maintenance plans; transport and logistics. All services are provided subject to availability and operational capacity.

3. Quotations & Estimates

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Estimates are based on the information provided by the Client and may be revised where:
    • Property conditions differ from those described;
    • Additional labour or materials are required;
    • Access restrictions affect delivery.
  • Additional work requested outside the agreed scope may incur further charges.

4. Bookings & Access

  • Clients must provide safe and lawful access to the property at the agreed date and time.
  • Delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or obstruction may incur additional charges.
  • Right Angle reserves the right to refuse service where conditions present risks to health, safety, legality, or staff welfare.

5. Payments

  • Payment terms are stated on the invoice or proposal.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
    • Invoices are payable within 7 days;
    • Subscription plans are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Late payments may result in:
    • Suspension of services;
    • Cancellation of scheduled visits;
    • Statutory interest and debt recovery costs.
  • All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

6. Maintenance & Third-Party Contractors

  • Right Angle may coordinate third-party contractors on behalf of the Client.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, Right Angle is not the direct supplier of third-party contractor services and all warranties remain the responsibility of the contractor.
  • Right Angle is not liable for defects caused by third-party workmanship.
  • The Client authorises Right Angle to arrange urgent remedial works where reasonably necessary to protect property, safety, or compliance.

7. Inspections & Reporting

  • Inspection reports are visual assessments only and are not structural surveys, legal certifications or guarantees of future condition.
  • Reports are based on visible and accessible areas at the time of inspection.
  • Hidden defects, latent faults, or inaccessible areas may not be identified.

8. Hygiene Resets

  • Hygiene Reset services are intended to improve cleanliness and presentation but do not guarantee sterilisation, medical-grade sanitation, or removal of all biological contaminants.
  • Specialist contamination, hazardous waste, mould remediation, pest control, or biohazard cleaning may require specialist contractors.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to provide accurate information, maintain utilities where required, secure valuables, disclose hazards or known risks, and comply with applicable laws and tenancy obligations.
  • The Client agrees to provide access to utilities (toilets and washrooms, electricity, water, etc.) where required.

10. Liability

  • Right Angle has full Public Liability Insurance and an authorised certificate may be presented where requested.
  • Nothing in these T&Cs excludes liability for:
    • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
    • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
    • Liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
  • Right Angle's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the relevant service.
  • Right Angle shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit claims.
  • Right Angle is not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing defects;
    • Hidden damage;
    • Deterioration caused by age, weather, occupancy, or misuse;
    • Delays caused by suppliers, contractors, utilities, or events outside reasonable control.

11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel bookings with at least 48 hours' notice for standard appointments and/or at least 7 days' notice for large scheduled works.
  • Late cancellations may incur additional charges.
  • Right Angle reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather, staff illness, operational requirements, or health and safety concerns.

12. Subscription & Care Plans

  • Maintenance plans operate on a recurring basis, either by Direct Debit or Standing Order, as outlined in the Client agreement.
  • Clients may cancel recurring plans by providing 30 days' written notice.
  • Missed visits caused by denied access may still be chargeable.

13. Intellectual Property

All reports, templates, branding, systems, visuals, documents, and service methodologies remain the intellectual property of Right Angle, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Users may not reproduce or distribute proprietary materials for commercial purposes without permission.

14. Force Majeure

Right Angle shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, utility failures, industrial disputes, government restrictions, transport disruption, and/or pandemics.

15. Complaints

Any complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the relevant incident. We aim to investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

16. Termination

Right Angle reserves the right to terminate services immediately where abusive behaviour occurs, unsafe conditions exist, illegal activity is suspected, and/or outstanding invoices remain unpaid.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Updated versions will be published on our website with the revised effective date.
